Next to Jachthaven Naarden there is a small, relatively undiscovered paradise: the beach at Naarderbos. Have a day just stretching out and enjoying the sun. Or come and enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Building sandcastles, messing about with a rubber dinghy, trying to catch carp or roach with a handmade rod …. The beach is a TRUE haven away from the rest of the world. You can’t buy ice cream or drinks (though they are available at the marina park). So turn off your telephone, let the kids muck around and sit back and enjoy yourself.
The beach is unsupervised, so anyone going near the water must be able to swim. You can purchase a life jacket or swimming bands at the shop Scheepsdief (for sale) or hire them at the sailing school.
